Home / Venture Hub / Investor Interest
Built at the HubHow investor conversations work here.
Short version: privately, slowly, and never on a public web page. This page explains the gate a venture has to pass before we will discuss investment at all, what we will and will not publish, and how to register interest if you are an operator we should know.
Nothing on this platform is an offer of securities.
Nothing on this page or anywhere on TheStartupsHub is an offer to sell, or an invitation or solicitation of an offer to subscribe for or buy, any securities. We do not publish amounts, valuations, round sizes, instruments, terms or projected returns on any public page, and we will not send them in response to a message from this form.
Under India's private placement framework an offer of securities may only be made privately to a limited group of identified people through the proper process. So any actual investment conversation happens off this platform, through proper legal channels, with company secretary and legal sign-off, and with the documentation that framework requires.
TheStartupsHub is not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, portfolio manager or fund manager. We do not advise on investments, we do not intermediate transactions, and we never handle investor money. Registering interest here does not create any obligation on either side, and it does not entitle you to participate in anything.
Four steps, no shortcuts.
Deliberately unglamorous. Every step exists because skipping it would either mislead you or put us on the wrong side of a rule we intend to stay well clear of.
You register interest
You tell us the sectors you know, the operating experience you bring and how you usually work. No financial detail, from either direction.
We talk, privately
If there is a plausible fit, a real conversation happens by call or in person. Still no documents, still nothing on the platform.
The venture passes the gate
Only ventures that clear the traction gate below reach this step. Below the gate, the answer is a straight not yet.
It moves off-platform
Anything further runs through counsel and our company secretary, under the private placement process, entirely away from this website.
What a venture must show first.
We set this gate on ourselves so that nobody has to take a pitch on faith, and so an early product cannot quietly borrow the credibility of a real one. A venture below the gate is labelled Early Access everywhere it appears, and carries no investment interest option at all.
A venture clears the gate only when all four are true
- Real customers, not pilots. A meaningful count of active paying organisations using it in production, sustained rather than sampled.
- Retention that holds. Those customers still there after a meaningful period, measured honestly by cohort, not averaged into a flattering blend.
- Genuine revenue. Money actually collected for the product itself, not services revenue booked next to it and not credits.
- Clean books and clean licences. Accounts in order, and every open source licence in the stack verified, with attribution intact.
The ventures, and where each one stands.
Every product we build in house, with its current gate status shown plainly. When one clears, its status changes here first.
Product detail lives in the Product Directory. Open roles across all of them are on the need board.
Register interest
Tell us what you have operated and what you know. We read every one of these ourselves. Please do not send financial terms, proposed amounts or documents through this form: we are not able to discuss them here, and anything of that nature will simply go unanswered until the process above reaches the right stage.
